Scope and purpose

SocialDesk connects authorized business accounts to a private workspace for reading and responding to business messages. The current deployment is an operator-controlled development and review environment, not a public customer service. We use information to operate the requested integration, maintain security, troubleshoot delivery and respond to privacy requests.

Information processed

For connected accounts, we process account names and identifiers, access credentials, message text and attachments or attachment metadata received from Meta, sender identifiers, reply drafts, send attempts, delivery events, and operational audit records. Depending on features used, records may include opt-out and consent information and campaign drafts. We do not need your password to respond to a privacy request.

Services and sharing

Meta provides the connected social platforms and receives messages sent through its APIs. Cloudflare hosts these public pages and routes the development webhook connection; it may process request contents and network metadata to deliver and secure those services. Message records are currently stored on the operator's local computer, not on this public policy site. We do not sell Meta Platform Data, provide it to data brokers, or use it to train AI models. No external AI processing is enabled. Automated broadcasts and ad creation are disabled in the current environment.

Storage and security

Access tokens are encrypted in application storage and kept server-side. The messaging workspace is not exposed by this site. We restrict access to the operator and specifically authorized reviewers. No security measure eliminates all risk, and we do not claim that all database content is encrypted.

Retention

Development records remain until an authorized deletion operation; automatic time-based expiry is not currently implemented. We review whether information remains necessary for testing, security or handling requests and remove it when no longer needed, subject to applicable preservation requirements. You may request deletion at any time using the instructions below. We do not promise a fixed backup-erasure schedule or deletion of records held independently by Meta.

Your choices and requests

You can stop contacting the connected account, remove the application's access through Meta account settings, or contact us to request access, correction, deletion or restriction of information associated with you. Depending on applicable law, other rights may be available. We verify requests proportionately and respond under applicable requirements. See data deletion instructions.

Public website

These informational pages contain no advertising trackers, analytics scripts, account login or application cookies. Hosting infrastructure may process IP addresses and request metadata for delivery and security.

Required disclosures and changes

We assess legal demands for information for validity and scope, seek appropriate review and disclose only information legally required where applicable. This is not a promise to disregard binding legal obligations. We will update this policy before material changes to processing, including external AI processing or wider customer availability.
